The School Inspectorate of Bucharest launches the Comenius Regio Project “Projecting European Future”, 2010-2012 Romania – Greece at the Conference Hall of The Local City Council of District no 3, at 11.00 a.m, on the 8th of December 2010.
“Projecting European Future”/ “ Proiectăm Viitorul Europei” is part of a lifelong learning program and is developed by Bucharest-Ilfov Region, Romania in partnership with Thessaly Region, Greece.
Romania is represented in the project by: The School Inspectorate of Bucharest (European coordinator); The Local City Council of District no 3; “Benjamin Franklin” Highschool; “Dante Alighieri” Highschool and the non-governmental organisation “Managers without Frontiers”.
Thessaly Region, Greece is represented by: The Third Primary Education Office of Pyli, Trikala; The Primary School of Pyli; The Evening Secondary School of Trikala; The Municipality of Pyli; The Development Centre of Thessaly.
“Projecting European Future” is one of the fifteen Comenius-Regio projects approved in Romania in 2010 and it aims at supporting cooperation between local authorities and schools in these two European regions.
The objectives of the project are: promoting European educational values, intercultural communication, social cohesion; improving the standards of quality in education.
The project involves joint activities, such as: seminar planning, workshops, training sessions, production of info materials and of a webpage etc.
The event will have special guests: representatives of The Local City Council of District no 3, The School Inspectorate of Bucharest, headmasters of schools, teachers involved in European partnerships.
